Nicole’s story is one of opposites attracting within one person – art and science, high fashion and nature, logic and spirituality. All of these have come together within her to create a perfect storm for a designer of jewellery that is touching the lives of many in beautiful and impactful ways.

She is the daughter of a doctor and an artist. She came into the world with a love of animals, crystals, and nature. She found a true passion in the world of fashion. She knows fashion designers most of us have never heard of. Had her father agreed, she would have become a clothing designer. Well, there was a better plan. It just remained hidden for a while longer.

While she was pursuing undergraduate and masters degrees in social work, she met and married her husband, Joe. Nicole always remained connected to her loves of fashion and nature – following her heart although her head may not have known where it was leading her at times.

What began seven years ago as a hobby to design artistic and fashionable jewellery for herself became a mission: a mission to seek her truth and, in doing so, seek the utmost happiness for herself, her family, and those around her. She now embraces her two diverse interests equally, unabashedly, and wholeheartedly which has brought to life her incredibly unique and breathtaking handmade jewellery. She believes, as well, that the properties of the stones and metals she uses in her jewelry help others in their daily pursuit of health and happiness.

Today, she knows this is her life's work. Her jewellery is both fashion forward and timeless. It is a thing of beauty and of healing.

Nicole and Joe live in upstate New York with their three children, two dogs, and one cat. A portion of all Tru Jewellery sales is donated to Wild Wings, an organization that rescues and provides shelter for birds of prey that have been injured and, therefore, are unable to survive in the wild.
